Done l'ho ritradotto: precedentemente era tradotto veramente male, credo dall'italiano. Proviene sempre da New York Times, c'è scritto nel testo: forse sarebbe meglio metterlo sulla stessa riga, in modo che continui linearmente, altrimenti sembra da un altro quotidiano. Ah, ho approfittato per fare la mia ultima aggiunta, ovvero il template {{Infobox ethnic group}} (avevo intenzione di aggiungerlo quando avevi finito, ma ho approfittato della tua pausa di lettura). i'm asking for your help because i don't know what else to do! I saw that you are interested in articles about Italy, and Milan is currently the most important city in the country, it's not possible that her page here on wikipedia is being poorly edited like that! There is a user who is constantly changing information from the Milan page, I tried to talk to him on the talk page with him, but it was useless! previously there were other users who were also reverting what he writes on the page, but now i think it's just me! He removes what is written (and verified with quotes) and writes things that he takes out of his head, without any verification and mostly false things. Thank you for bringing that to my attention. My library has two editions of that book, one from 2012 and one from 2004. I thought I had the 2012 edition, but it seems it was actually the 2004 edition-I suppose one should check those things. The particular passage I cited is: "Police credit Mora for inadvertently leading to the downfall of international Sicilian money launderer Alfonso Caruana. In 199, while monitoring Mora's telephone conversatons, police heard of an upcoming wedding, and set up surveillance at Toronto's posh Sutton Place Hotel. The father of the bride was identified as Caruana, who was wanted by Italian authorities for money laundering and Mafia associations. Caruana had fled from Italy, but the police didn't knew where he had settled until the wedding. The investigation that followed involved several countries and a dozen law agencies, and by the time it was over, Mora was dead, and several Caruana family members were charged and convicted." (Auger, Michel; Edwards, Peter The Encyclopedia of Canadian Organized Crime: From Captain Kidd to Mom Boucher, Toronto: McClelland & Stewart, 2004). Ho optato per il confronto nella pagina di discussione (le sue ragioni ce le ha: conviene chiarirsi): se lui non mette i {{cn}}, me li metteresti tu? Infatti la sensibilità per questo aspetto è diversa tra Wikipedia in inglese e Wikipedia in italiano, e su Wikipedia in inglese sarei in difficoltà a capire dove mettere io le fonti (l'articolo l'ho infatti tradotto pari pari da Wikipedia in italiano, dove non ha tag). Sì, innanzitutto i confini, che secondo me dovrebbero essere più spessi (nell'immagine inserita nell'articolo "Italy", non si vedono proprio), ma più in generale l'immagine dovrebbe essere più definita, adesso è troppo sgranata (in altre parole, la definizione è troppo bassa). Tra l'altro secondo me è un tag messo nel posto sbagliato (non vale per tutto l'articolo): è solo la sezione storica che potrebbe avere questo problema, poiché il resto è solo descrittivo, o sbaglio? Hey Vaselineeeeeeee, in the early career section of Giuliano Maiorana, I think the 2nd citation works better than the 1st for the claim he "was born in Cambridge" because it calls Cambridge United his "home town club". Reviewing suggested edits to Taskrabbit article
Hi Vaselineeeeeeee, I am looking to work with the Wikipedia community of editors to suggest objective edits to the TaskRabbit article based on 3rd party sources. I have a COI as Taskrabbit is my client, so I will not be making edits directly. I have been in touch with you previously about a different article, and I was wondering if you would be willing to take a look at my suggested edits for this article, and if you agree, help with implementing the edits. I have tried reaching out to other editors who have edited TaskRabbit in the past, but I have not heard back from them so far.
I have drafted suggestions for the Infobox as well as multiple sections of the article. Below is an outline of the suggestions, and the full text and sources for all of the suggestions can be found in my sandbox here User:CameronSays/sandbox. @LowLevel73: LukeWiller usually procures me to clean up the grammar on his translations of it.wiki content onto en.wiki. I can clean up the essay tones and grammar with the article, but do not really help with sourcing. I do see there are quite a few sentences unsourced, however, the topic is notable so I think moving to draft space is a little excessive (a maintenance tag can be placed if need be). I don't want to do all the grammar work on the article for this still not being acceptable, so just checking in how we can get this published. Ciao, stavolta ti faccio lavorare un bel po'...:-) Innanzitutto ho ampliato l'articolo Cinema of Italy (questo è il mio ultimo ampliamento: adesso l'articolo è proprio a posto), per il quale dovresti rileggere Cinema of Italy#1900s, Cinema of Italy#1910s (esclusi i capitoli "Stardom (1910s)" e "Cinema futurista (1910s)", che non li ho modificati), Cinema of Italy#1920s, Cinema of Italy#1930s (escluso il capitolo "Cinecittà (1930s–present)", per in quale ho copiato testo in inglese dall'articolo Cinecittà, quindi dovrebbe essere già a posto) e Cinema of Italy#1940s (escluso il capitolo "Neorealism (1940s–1950s)", che non ho modificato). A questo purtroppo andrebbe aggiunta anche la necessità di rileggere l'articolo Law enforcement in Italy, per il quale ieri è stato aggiunto questo avviso. Io comunque nel capitolo che ti ho appena sottoposto alla rilettura, una controllata alle fonti l'ho data lo stesso per sicurezza). Infine, per l'articolo "Theatre of Italy", avrei bisogno che mi rileggessi la prima frase dell'incipit (qui su Wikipedia in inglese credo che lo chiamate "top"), ovvero "The theatre of Italy originates from the Middle Ages, with its backgroud dating back to the times of the ancient Greek colonies of Magna Graecia, in the Southern Italy, the theater of the Italic peoples and the theatre of ancient Rome.". Poi dovresti rileggere due brevissimi paragrafi. Nel capitolo Stella d'Italia#From the Middle Ages to the unification of Italy il paragrafo segnalato con "[non sequitur]" e nel capitolo Traditions of Italy#Lombardy dovresti rileggere l'ultimo paragrafo, ovvero quello che inizia con "The Prima della Scala ("La Scala season premiere") is an event that takes place..." e che finisce con "... @LukeWiller: Ciao. Penso di aver finito tutti quelli. Solo qualcosa da tenere a mente sullo stile di scrittura, cerca di non usare "noi" nella scrittura enciclopedica o parole soggettive come "sfortunatamente" o "enorme successo" a meno che la fonte non utilizzi tale termonologia. Inoltre, molte frasi che ho notato sono molto lunghe e perdono ogni senso a causa di ciò quando cerchi di inserire troppe informazioni con troppe virgole. Per esempio: "Although their films were labeled as minor works of Italian cinema by film critics of the time, who did not consider their comic films, often parodies of films of the period, as worthy of note, they were rewarded by important audience responses with notable receipts; for example I figli del leopardo by Sergio Corbucci (1965), a parody of The Leopard by Luchino Visconti (1963)." Avrei da chiederti un ultimo favore: nel template iniziale di tutte le autostrade italiane (un esempio è "Autostrada A9 (Italy)"), più precisamente nell'ultimo campo, denominato "Highway system", dove sono linkati i vari tipi di strade italiane, mancherebbe la "Strada comunale". Il template però è protetto, e servirebbe un amministratore che aggiungesse, dopo il link "Provincial", il link [[Strada comunale|Municipal]]. For some strange reason, BSk and BSh both exist in the map: the first in Sardinia and Pantelleria, the second one only in Pantelleria. Anyway the map is very inaccurate: Northern Tuscany should be Cfa/Cfsa instead of Csa (e.g. Florence) whereas central-northern Apulia should be Csa instead of Cfa. In pratica i files File:Mappa autostrada A50.svg, File:Mappa autostrada A51.svg e File:Mappa autostrada A58.svg non sono aggiornati perché riportano ancora che l'Autostrada A52 (che è la tangenziale nord di Milano: nelle mappe trovi il suo tracciato a nord della città) sia ancora incompleta (si vedono infatti ancora i due tronconi non collegati). Fai conto che l'articolo "History of Milan" è piuttosto lungo, ma ha ampie parti che ho copiato da altri articoli di Wikipedia in inglese, e inoltre ha parti che erano già presenti prima del mio ampliamento, quindi queste parti dovrebbero essere a posto. Ciao, avrei bisogno di un altro favore da parte dell'amministratore che hai contattato precedentemente per la mia richiesta per il template {{Infobox road}}, questa volta sui raccordi autostradali italiani (Raccordo autostradale RA2 è un esempio). Andrebbero fatte a parer mio tre modifiche minori. La prima è nella parte superiore del template, dove andrebbero invertiti di posizione "Autostrada Connection 2" e "Raccordo autostradale 2" (così si capisce meglio il significato della sigla contenuta nell'icona sopra, in questo caso "RA2"). La seconda modifica sarebbe la sostituzione di "Autostrada Connection 2" con "Motorway connection 2" (così è più comprensibile: non tutti sanno che cos'è un'"autostrada", e "connection" andrebbe con la "c" minuscola). La terza e ultima modifica sarebbe l'ingrandimento delle due piccole icone posizionate proprio in fondo al template, quelle che indicano il raccordo precedente e il raccordo successivo (così come sono sono proprio illeggibili: prova a fare un confronto con le autostrade, come ad esempio con l'articolo Autostrada A2 (Italy)).
