Striking names
Just to be clear, we can strike a copyeditor's name from a request if they were blocked before they actually worked on the request, right? Mox Eden (talk) 00:29, 6 June 2026 (UTC)
- Yes, and I'd also note that the request is available again. In solidarity, Miniapolis 01:58, 6 June 2026 (UTC)

Boneless Pizza! requested a copyedit before the page was promoted to FA, so I think we can archive this now. In solidarity, Miniapolis 17:25, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
- I copy edited this article, it seemed rather recently, but it was exactly three years ago (6/21–26/23). However, I was surprised to see it again requested. I would have meant it for someone else to do, since different approaches might lead to a better result. I'm happy to see it reach FA status without further copy editing help. I can only assume that no issues with the prose were found. Dhtwiki (talk) 01:56, 23 June 2026 (UTC)
- I c/e'd it in January this year; it's now done. More material was added in February 2026 and some of the lower-down material needed whipping into shape. I hope the requester is happy now. 🅑🅰🅖 ☿ 🅴🅻🅵🅵🅐🅱 03:12, 23 June 2026 (UTC)

I felt like this FA article needs some in depth copyedits from a native editor since I am not native enough that I might have missed any grammatical errors. 🍕BP!🍕 (🔔) 23:28, 28 March 2026 (UTC)

Note: Page is now an FA. See talk. In solidarity, Miniapolis 17:20, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
Working I was avoiding this one, because I copy-edited it last time it was here. But I'll take it in hopes it's finally good enough for the requester. 🅑🅰🅖 ☿ 🅴🅻🅵🅵🅐🅱 21:10, 22 June 2026 (UTC)

Draft:Death of Lindsey Graham on hold
I've placed the request for the above draft on hold. The article is in the draftspace, currently not accepted, but the TA requester thinks improving the draft's grammar would improve the subject's suitability for the mainspace. I disagree and think we should decline for the usual reasons. See the request here (permalink). Cheers, 🅑🅰🅖 ☿ 🅴🅻🅵🅵🅐🅱 00:33, 18 July 2026 (UTC)
- WP:NOTNEWS; no need for a separate article about a death from natural causes. In solidarity, Miniapolis 13:31, 18 July 2026 (UTC)
- Thanks Mini; I've declined the draft. The prose is actually okay so I doubt that would be an issue at submission anyway. Cheers, 🅑🅰🅖 ☿ 🅴🅻🅵🅵🅐🅱 01:12, 20 July 2026 (UTC)

Not sure if a draft can undergo copyediting but I think this draft can undergo copyediting (if copyediting can be done for drafts). This draft can undergo better tense per mos:TENSE and a recent comment about its “weird tense”. I request copyediting in hopes that once it is submitted, it has a better chance of becoming an article. ~2026-39968-19 (talk) 20:57, 15 July 2026 (UTC)
Comment: We usually do not copy edit drafts. Such articles are likely to undergo considerable change. In this case, an article about a recent event only adds to the likelihood of considerable change in the future making a copy edit now relatively futile. Dhtwiki (talk) 23:32, 16 July 2026 (UTC)
On hold; @~2026-39968-19:, I agree with Dhtwiki. Fixing verb tenses does not make it suitable for mainspace. Even perfect prose would not make this subject individually notable. Discuss at REQ Talk. 🅑🅰🅖 ☿ 🅴🅻🅵🅵🅐🅱 00:24, 18 July 2026 (UTC)
Declined unsubmitted draft in draftspace, per above and comments at REQ Talk. Discuss at REQ talk (link above). 🅑🅰🅖 ☿ 🅴🅻🅵🅵🅐🅱 01:09, 20 July 2026 (UTC)
Warner Bros. Discovery on hold
I've placed the c/e request for the above article on hold. A major subsection, "Attempted separation and proposed sale to Paramount Skydance (2025–present)" has been tagged for concerns about the presence of copyrighted material and LLM-generated material, and there's a lot of trivial coverage and some ongoing editing. All of the concerning material should removed or integrated before a full copy-edit occurs. I'm happy to hold this for a while to see if there's any improvement. @Liz: (courtesy ping), this seems to me more like a job for CLEANUP than the Guild.
