An editor has requested that New South Wales A and B sets be moved to New South Wales Waratah trains. Since you had some involvement with 'New South Wales A and B sets', you are invited to participate in the move discussion. Qwerty123M (talk) 23:43, 1 June 2026 (UTC)
Swapping Overland direction
Hello,
I see you've reverted my edit to Southern Cross railway station. I wanted to explain why I have made these edits.
I swapped them so that they would be consistent with every other service. When I say 'convention', I use that as a substitute for making something the same as the majority. If theres a convention that states that it should be the same, I don't know it. LachlanTansey (talk) 00:29, 16 July 2026 (UTC)
Articles for Creation backlog drive

Hello Fork99:
WikiProject Articles for creation is holding a month long Backlog Drive in August!
The goal of this drive is to reduce the backlog of unreviewed drafts to less than a month of outstanding reviews from the current 3+ months. Bonus points will be given for reviewing drafts that have been waiting more than 30 days. The drive is running from 1 August 2026 through 31 August 2026.
You may find Category:AfC pending submissions by age or other categories and sorting helpful.
Barnstars will be given out as awards at the end of the drive.
There is a backlog of over 5000 pages, so start reviewing drafts. We're looking forward to your help! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:37, 19 July 2026 (UTC)

Would i be able to post a screenshot of OpenStreetMaps?
I was wondering if i could possibly post a image on Wikimedia Commons of a Screenshot that i took on OpenStreetMap of Bridport Road that i drew a red line on the route of bridport road, would it be possible to post it with out any copyright issues? 1Ink (talk) 00:56, 31 July 2026 (UTC)
- @1Ink: Hi, I don't have any experience with creating or adding maps to articles. I don't know if OSM screenshots can be uploaded to Commons, you would need to enquire there as Commons is a separate project/website to the English Wikipedia. Please also note that some images are appropriate to upload locally to the English Wikipedia rather than Commons, however again, I do not know if these would be appropriate here either. You might find these links regarding copyright useful: Commons policy on screenshots, Wikipedia policy on images uploaded locally, OpenStreetMap copyright licensing
- However, most road articles have an interactive map, for example, see the infobox of Bass Highway (Tasmania). Is there a reason why one can't be created for this rather than a static screenshot? I would suggest since neither of us know how to create these maps, that you have a look at Template:Map requested and place
{{Map requested|Australia}}on the relevant talk pages of the article(s) you want a map for to request that someone else make one for it. Please see that template page's documentation linked earlier for how to use it. - Otherwise, if you want more information on maps on Wikipedia articles in general, see Wikipedia:Maps for Wikipedia. @Fork99:
iCarly website
The tricky thing about referencing this edit [] is the iCarly website is no longer active since Dan left in 2018 and now everything redirects to nick.com. There was no source at the time due to the iCarly website being active and the other websites being mentioned didn't need a source as the main iCarly website was the source being used. Not sure how a source can be found now. Should the section just be removed entirely? I went back to 2012 and noticed that some of the websites did indeed have links bu were removed later on due to being redirects Magical Golden Whip (talk) 14:58, 22 August 2026 (UTC)
- @Magical Golden Whip: Full disclosure, I have no idea about anything about this show, I only stumbled upon this article while pruning redirects for RfD. As far as I can tell, these were fictional websites from the show which also redirected to the show's actual website (like an easter egg of sorts)? If there's no secondary reliable source coverage of these, then probably? If we're only citing the fact these existed, then could citing Wayback Machine archive(s) of the website(s) suffice? Fork99 (talk) 15:15, 22 August 2026 (UTC)
- All these websites were mentioned in the show at some point during the run and the fake urls like nevelocity.com was bought buy Dan then redirected to iCarly's website. Wayback machine took awhile to work but does go to iCarly.com. Parts of me things this also falls under trivia. Not sure if wayback machine would do any good. I was trying to just avoid having the unreferenced tag. Thanks anyway. Magical Golden Whip (talk) 15:25, 22 August 2026 (UTC)
- @Magical Golden Whip: Yeah, it does sound like trivia to me. Fork99 (talk) 17:15, 22 August 2026 (UTC)
