Vicki Schmidt is an American politician who is currently the Kansas Insurance Commissioner. She was a Republican member of the Kansas Senate, representing the 20th district, from 2005 to 2019. She also served as the Senate Assistant Majority Leader from 2009 to 2012, and from 2017 to 2019. She was elected Kansas Insurance Commissioner in 2018, and re-elected in 2022.
