Vetements started in 2014 as a Swiss-French luxury fashion house founded by Georgian fashion designers Demna Gvasalia and Guram Gvasalia. Initially established as a design collective, the label became known for oversized proportions, reconstructed garments, streetwear and the reinterpretation of familiar clothing and imagery.
