Viewing a deleted article
Hi !
I know you're a deletionist, so I figured I'd ask you if I could view an article I stumbled across on The Faith / Void that was deleted a while ago to see if there's useful information on there I could merge or properly cite -- I'm mostly just curious to see what it was (my guess is an under-cited album article stub).
Thank you !
Eugenia ioessa (talk) 16:56, 10 February 2026 (UTC)
- Totally unrelated to the album unfortunately, the deleted article is a single line about a band from California. Nothing useful. ♠PMC♠ (talk) 00:26, 11 February 2026 (UTC)
- thanks for checking !

Hi PMC, I'm just messaging you as the first admin I could think of. Could you undelete the old revision of File:"Zebra Killers" mugshots, 1974 - l to r, Manuel Moore, Larry Green, Jessie Lee Cooks, JCX Simon.jpg so I could move it to Wikimedia Commons? It was marked as fair-use but is in fact in the public domain. Best, Bremps... 04:45, 17 March 2026 (UTC)

Thank you today for Voss (Alexander McQueen collection), introduced: "It's late 2000. You've had it up to here with the jerks at LVMH telling you how to run Givenchy, with the press making snarky comments about your weight, and with the whole bloody madhouse of the fashion industry top to tail. Do you quit this all and become an accountant now? Hell no. You're Alexander McQueen, and you're going to channel your rage into the most beautiful showcase of your entire career: Voss. - Combining incredible showpieces, virtuoso staging, and – the biggest middle finger of all – beautifully wearable designs, Voss was McQueen at the top of his game, all killer no filler. I hope this article does it justice."! - I have a FAC open, in case of interest. What do you think of Brich dem Hungrigen dein Brot, BWV 39, - possible? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 07:34, 7 June 2026 (UTC)

A couple redirect requests to Inuit clothing
Hi PMC, there's a couple redirect requests at WP:AFC/R that I think are reasonable but thought I should check with you first given the article is one of the finest FAs in my estimation: (one, Inuit dress, two, Inuit footwear). I think the requestor flubbed the link to the source but not sure it matters. Any issue with either? S0091 (talk) 20:59, 24 June 2026 (UTC)

Request for deleted wikitext: Steven C. Wade
I am Steven C. Wade, the subject of Steven C. Wade, which was deleted under G11 on 16 May 2020. I am not requesting direct restoration to article space. I would like a copy of the deleted wikitext, or restoration to my userspace, primarily to recover its references. I intend to rewrite it neutrally, I do not specifically recall the article being promotional, but it contained a list of games and projects I had worked on that I can no longer fully reconstruct after many years. My main purpose is to recover that information and the original references. Any new article would be written in a neutral, source-based manner. I will disclose my conflict of interest and submit it through Articles for Creation rather than moving it directly into article space. Sources covering me and my work include: GamesBeat — Midnight comes out of stealth with $7.5M in funding Naavik — Midnight, the AA Web3 Games Consolidator BlockchainGamer.biz — How Midnight is building its Evergreen multiverse GAM3S.GG — Midnight’s Web3 MMORPG Evergreen Would you be willing to provide the deleted source or userfy it for me? Thank you. Jumpingspider (talk) 03:39, 26 June 2026 (UTC)
- I'm not inclined to action this, although I'm willing to send you the list of works as a courtesy. The article did read a bit like a CV, not an encyclopedia article. Frankly the sourcing situation isn't good either. GamesBeat is reliable per WP:VGRS, but that article is about the company, not about you. Naavik is a podcast interview with you, we typically don't regard those as a strong contributor to a claim to notability. Same with BockchainGamer.biz which doesn't strike me as all that reliable anyway. Gam3s.gg doesn't look reliable (neither of these last two are listed at VGRS) and the article is about the company, not about you. ♠PMC♠ (talk) 11:25, 26 June 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you for taking a look. Yes, I would appreciate the list of works as a courtesy—that is the material I was most concerned about losing.
- I understand your assessment regarding the article and the sourcing. Thank you again. Jumpingspider (talk) 16:41, 26 June 2026 (UTC)

Bibliography of Alexander McQueen?
Hey PMC, I was talking to a friend who is interested in Alexander McQueen and they mentioned they were after a new book to read. I checked if we had a Bibliography of Alexander McQueen article and not seeing any, thought I'd compile one from the source sections of your FAs. Thought I'd check with you before doing so to avoid stepping on toes in case there's something I'm missing, to see if you want the page authorship credit for what is really your work, and in case you had any insight on organisation. Deletion of Article
Hi! I would to like question why the article “Battle of Hagoogane (1920)” has been deleted, as i have no even taken part in the discussion yet, it was deleted as i was wriing my response, further more, i was never motified that a discussion was taking place in my talk page, only on the artciles talk page. Samyatilius (talk) 14:31, 18 August 2026 (UTC)
- The AfD was open for the standard one-week period and showed a clear consensus for deletion. No editor is guaranteed right of reply at AfD (that is, there is no provision to hold an AfD open until any particular person comments). You were not automatically notified because you are not the article's creator - HabrJeclo was, and they were given the standard automatic notification on their talk page. ♠PMC♠ (talk) 14:55, 18 August 2026 (UTC)
- i see I apologise for the confusion. However, i have significantly added to the discussion but am not the creator so my fault if it isn’t my place to say this but, I wish to restore or reactivate the article discussion as i have complaints of meatpuppetry and a possible sockpuppetry, aswell as the argument raised by the author of the deletion being unbased and false. is there anything i do? any way that i can change the outcome to oppose the decision? Samyatilius (talk) 15:00, 18 August 2026 (UTC)
- You can take the discussion to deletion review if you'd like to dispute the outcome. Please be very careful with your accusations of meat/sockpuppetry - you need to have evidence for these or you may be seen as casting aspersions. ♠PMC♠ (talk) 15:02, 18 August 2026 (UTC)
- thank you for both of the advice, However, in my suspicion for sockpuppetry, @~2026-45016-01 was tagged for meatpuppetry, was created on 16 of August 2026, Immediately on the same day he somehow finds the deletion discussion, and votes delete by saying “i agree with the points raised above” without any additional contribution.
- for my second point, the @Ocelius was created a month ago, creating or contributing to no wikipages other than his sandbox, the only 3 fhanges he made is editing the userpage of the account @Yubudirsi *which took part and voted delete in the deleting discussion*, and removing his vote after the article was deleted. Further more, The user Yubudirsi is connected appearing in the talk page of the person that initiated the deletion discussion, In order to back him in arguments and discussions. See Talk:Somaliland campaign where both users argue for the move of the wikipage to be renamed to the Dervish war *there are many accounts created on the same day of the discussion began there too only to immediately vote and never contribute anything else*, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Abbasid expeditions to East Africa, Both users again argue for the same thing and push each other’s argument, for example
- “Delete. [I believe Yubudirsi’s extensive input shows why it should be deleted and/or merged with كتاب الزنج (Kitab al-Zanj) as it is mainly a mythological and legend-based account.] Johannes Klarnus-Pettersen (talk) 19:51, 12 March 2026 (UTC)”
- infact if one of Replayerr, Johaness Klarnus-Pettersen or Yubudirsi are having a deletion discussion, one or both The other two will almost always back the other, Which is again incredibly odd combined with the obvious sockpuppetry.
- i can point out many more examples but i hope these are enough to give u a better understanding of what i mean. Thank you for taking time to listen to this and again, I appreciate your time to suggest alternatives. Samyatilius (talk) 15:29, 18 August 2026 (UTC)
- I've self-reverted the close and relisted it for now, pointing to this discussion, and tagged the TA and Ocelius as possible single-purpose accounts. However, just because Yubudirsi and JKP happen to agree with each other and edit in the same topic area does not necessarily substantiate an accusation of meatpuppetry on their part. If you believe they are engaging in socking, please take it to sockpuppet investigations for a proper investigation. ♠PMC♠ (talk) 15:40, 18 August 2026 (UTC)
- thank you, i know it isn’t sufficient but i was pointing out that there argument is not only baseless, but they blindly agree with each other without any real arguments Samyatilius (talk) 15:43, 18 August 2026 (UTC)
- If it isn't baseless, I'd suggest providing sources that indicate significant coverage of this incident, because so far no one has done so. ♠PMC♠ (talk) 15:46, 18 August 2026 (UTC)
- i certainly will, thank you for taking the time to respond and fixing up my request, i will add my argument and perhaps will see the future outcome.
- just a quick question, to pass an article does not necessarily mean the decision with the most votes win but rather the decision with the most verifiable and notable sources arguments and facts? or am i mistaken Samyatilius (talk) 15:49, 18 August 2026 (UTC)
- AfD is a consensus-based decision. It's not a straight vote, but based on strength of arguments. The presence of significant coverage in reliable sources is generally the best argument. In this case, JKP made a well-reasoned argument that there were no sources indicating significant coverage, and no one rebutted that. ♠PMC♠ (talk) 16:04, 18 August 2026 (UTC)
