Deletion of “Giulia: The Poison Queen of Palermo“

Hi! I clicked on the links you had for why I might be visiting your page, but I’m not sure they’re what I was looking for. Also, I’m still new, so I hope this is the right way to contact you, but is there a way to undelete the page “Giulia: The Poison Queen of Palermo?”

The musical is newer, but seems to be taking off, and was a creation of the Sugarland singer Jennifer Nettles. So it seems like it would be good to keep the page and general information. Is there a way to keep the page itself and also get rid of the LLM content from the original poster?

Yes, this user has been deleting every page I ever made even the ones without LLM usage (which was only for reference codes not for the actual copy. Hopefully this gets through to them because they're deleting pages that are completely okay. Naramar (talk) 17:19, 17 August 2026 (UTC)

Bulgarian spy ring

Hi Explicit, you deleted "Bulgarian spy ring" on 4 July 2026 as an expired LLMPROD (Global Donald cleanup). As far as I understand the directives the best way to get the page back online is to contact you ans ask whether you could restore it, either to "mainspace" or "userfied" to my space.

To be clear about where I stand: I am not contesting that it was LLM-generated. But I have checked all 55 references individually and none is dead or fabricated, and the topic — the largest espionage trial in UK history — is plainly notable. I am assuming responsibility for the content and will carry out the source-by-source review, cutting anything I cannot verify, and document it on the talk page.

Request to overturn deletion of Malawi 24

Hi, I'm getting in touch about the deletion of *Malawi 24*. I've gone back through the AfD and done some more searching, and I think there were some fairly significant sources that weren't found during the discussion.

The AfD seems to have turned mainly on the view that Malawi24 had been cited by other publications but that there wasn't independent coverage discussing the outlet itself. I initially thought that might be right, but I've since found more than was apparent from the discussion.

The Guardian and the Committee to Protect Journalists both covered the arrest of Macmillan Mhone over investigations published by Malawi24. Their reports go into the Malawi24 stories themselves, Mhone's work for the publication and the police action that followed. Freedom House discusses the same episode in its *Freedom on the Net 2024: Malawi* report, and MISA Malawi covered both Mhone's arrest and release.These are more substantial than Malawi24 simply being cited as a source, which was how the available coverage was characterised at AfD.

What really made me think the deletion was worth another look, though, was a completely unrelated academic source. A 2025 peer-reviewed study in *Frontiers in Communication* selected Malawi24 alongside *MW Nation*, *MW Times* and *Nyasa Times* as four national newspapers used in its study of disaster reporting in Malawi. The authors describe the publications they selected as the "leading news outlets for analysis".

There is other supporting material going back several years. Freedom House has repeatedly used Malawi24 reporting in its Malawi country reports, MISA lists it in its media directory, a SAGE paper cites its reporting, and BBC News, AFP Fact Check and others have also used or referred to Malawi24 material. I wouldn't rely on those citations alone, but they give some context to the stronger sources above.

None of this seems to have been before the AfD. One participant agreed "per nom", while another said they had done "a few searches" and found little beyond Ground News. With the Guardian, CPJ, Freedom House and particularly the unrelated *Frontiers* study now identified, I'm wondering whether the result would have been the same had those sources been available during the discussion.

Would you be open to taking another look at the deletion in light of these sources, or would you suggest taking this directly to Deletion Review?
