The Tombstone Epitaph is the oldest continually published newspaper in Arizona. In 1880, it began publication in Tombstone, Arizona, and notably it's editor John Clum documented the infamous Gunfight at the O.K. Corral, sharing his articles with news wires which helped mythologize Wyatt Earp, Doc Holliday and their outlaw adversaries, the Cochise County Cowboys, in American culture.
