18650 battery

I recently created an article on the 18650--arguably the most important rechargeable battery size at draft:18650 battery. It was shot down :(. Should I add the 18650 into a new section on the article? JayCubby (talk) 18:37, 15 August 2023 (UTC)

the 18650 is really, really important. If you are to take apart a lithium battery pack (laptop, Tesla, ebike, etc) you will likely find 18650s. They're a $5billion industry^[1]. In response to Does every size need its own article??, I tell you that we have an article for the C battery, so why not the 18650? A27 confusion

The A27 battery has an altenative designation of 8LR732, but the comment alongside suggests it contains 8 LR632 cells, which goes against the usual battery designation format (e.g. the 4SR44 which contains 4 SR44 cells). Further down in the button cell section the LR932 - not the LR632 - is claimed to be the cell used in the 8LR732. Mspritch (talk) 00:24, 3 November 2025 (UTC)

@~2026-14175-56 add more entries for 4000+ mAh battery, but i dont only choose ^[2] and ^[3] because these state the highest 4050mAh.

^[4] and ^[5] are only 4000mAh.

Go on Amazon and you'll find amazing numbers printed on 18650 battery wrappers - as high as 9000 mAh. These work especially well in the 100,000 lumen pocket flashlights also sold there. Stick with ratings by known manufacturers, not on ad copy made up by Internet vape shops. --Wtshymanski (talk) 16:32, 22 March 2026 (UTC)

quick search on this i cant find the 9000mAh battery you mention ^[1]

but searching on random website for example ^[2] give me CWUU 18650 3.7V 9900mAh, but searching about it and its review i dont think it is real

this doesnt mean that the actual reference is correct but at least it have more evidence that 9900mAh battery

"Single A" Battery Image needed

The current image of the "A" battery is just a sketch of size of the battery. If someone has an image of a physical single a battery, or can find one on commons, please replace it on the article. (Not the eveready 742) Hiya2527 (talk) 07:47, 19 May 2026 (UTC)
