The Syrian Salvation Government (SSG) was an unrecognized quasi-state in Syria, formed on 2 November 2017 by Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and other opposition groups during the Syrian civil war, as an administration responsible for managing the affairs of civilians in areas under its control. It controlled parts of northwestern Syria, primarily in the Idlib Governorate and Aleppo Governorate, as well as smaller areas of the Hama Governorate and Latakia Governorate.
