The Super League 1, officially known as A1 Ethniki Katigoria and currently named Stoiximan Super League due to sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league in Greece and the highest level of the Greek football league system. Formed on 16 July 2006, it replaced Alpha Ethniki Katigoria as the country's first tier league. The members of the cooperative are the Football Anonymous Companies (P.A.E.) that have the right to participate in the Super League 1 championship. The president of Super League 1 is Vangelis Marinakis, who has been re-elected for the third time.
