The Nick Jr. Channel is an American pay television channel owned by the Nickelodeon Group, a subdivision of the Paramount Media Networks division of Paramount Skydance. It launched on September 28, 2009, as a spin-off of Nickelodeon's programming block of the same name, and targets children aged 2 to 6, with a mix of original programming and series from the Nick Jr. block. To avoid confusion, the channel has been identified on-air as the "Nick Jr. Channel" since March 2018 and on-screen until September 2023.
