Newsboys is a Christian rock band originally from Mooloolaba, Queensland, Australia, later based in Nashville, Tennessee. Since its founding in 1985, the band released seventeen albums, six of which have been certified Gold. The band is entirely owned by early manager Wes Campbell and consists of lead vocalist Adam Agee, guitarist Jody Davis, keyboardist Jeff Frankenstein, and drummer Duncan Phillips. In addition to performing music, the band has appeared in the films God's Not Dead, God's Not Dead 2, and God's Not Dead: A Light in Darkness. Newsboys was cited by CCM Magazine as one of the most influential Christian bands.
