Narrative art is art that tells a story, either as a moment in an ongoing story or as a sequence of events unfolding over time. More narrowly, and for the purposes of this article, narrative art refers to static art mediums that tell stories, such as certain instances of sculpture, painting, or architectural ornamentation.
