Minsc is a fictional character in the Baldur's Gate series of Dungeons & Dragons role-playing video games. He first appeared as a recruitable companion in BioWare's Baldur's Gate, and later appeared in Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn, Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal, Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear, and Larian Studios' Baldur's Gate 3. He is accompanied by Boo, a hamster whom Minsc believes to be a "miniature giant space hamster". Jim Cummings voiced Minsc in the earlier games, while Matthew Mercer voiced him in Baldur's Gate 3.
