Minnesota Opera is a Pulitzer prize-winning performance organization based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It was founded as the Center Opera Company in 1963 by the Walker Art Center. The President and General Director is Ryan Taylor. The Minnesota Opera has consistently taken risks including commissioning new works and incorporating the work of emerging artists.
