Michael Karl "Dozer" Shower is an American politician and a former Republican member of the Alaska State Senate, serving from 2018 to 2025. Shower was appointed by Governor Bill Walker to fill a vacancy created by Mike Dunleavy, who resigned in order to focus on his run for governor. He represented Valdez and several rural communities in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough, including Willow, Houston, Big Lake, and Sutton. He resigned from the chamber in November 2025 after being named as a lieutenant gubernatorial candidate in the 2026 election.
