Master Roshi, known in Japan as Kame Sennin as well as Muten Rōshi , is a fictional character in the Japanese manga series Dragon Ball and its anime adaptations created by Akira Toriyama. The name Roshi is a modernized Japanese translation of the antiquated form of Old Master, namely the ancient Daoist Sage.
