Lance Jeremy Fortnow is a computer scientist known for major results in computational complexity and interactive proof systems. From 2019-2026, he worked as a professor in computer science at the Illinois Institute of Technology. He served as the founding dean of the College of Computing from June 2020 to June 2025.
