Just Whitney is the fifth studio album by American singer and actress Whitney Houston, released on November 27, 2002, by Arista Records. It followed My Love is Your Love (1998) and her 2000 compilation, Whitney: The Greatest Hits (2000), and was her first studio album under a new $100 million Arista contract. Her first project without the involvement of her longtime mentor Clive Davis, Houston adopted a looser recording process and a more R&B-oriented sound, working with a broader range of collaborators while exploring themes of resilience, independence, relationships, and media scrutiny.
