Joint Task Force Western Hemisphere

Joint Task Force Western Hemisphere (JTF-WHEM) is a joint task force of U.S. Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) established 4 August 2026. It will act as a rapid reaction force in the Western Hemisphere as well as partner with other security agencies of the Americas Counter Cartel Coalition (A3C) more commonly known as the Shield of the Americas. The first commander was announced as Major General Kevin Jarrard, USMC.
