It primarily operates in three areas of business: building automation, industrial automation, and energy and sustainability solutions (ESS). Honeywell also operates Sandia National Laboratories under contract with the U.S. Department of Energy. Honeywell is a Fortune 500 company, ranked 115th in 2023.
