The Federal Vision is a line of Christian thought based in the United States. It is a Reformed evangelical theological approach that focuses on covenant theology, Trinitarian thinking, the sacraments of baptism and communion, biblical theology and typology, justification, and postmillennialism. The movement has been rejected by several denominations in the U.S., including the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), the Orthodox Presbyterian Church (OPC), the United Reformed Churches in North America (URCNA), the Reformed Presbyterian Church in the United States (RPCUS) and the Orthodox Christian Reformed Churches.
