David Bruce Wohl is an American former basketball player, assistant coach, head coach, and professional basketball executive. Among other things, Wohl is the former head coach of the New Jersey Nets, the former general manager of the Los Angeles Clippers, and the former executive vice president of basketball operations for the Miami Heat. During his long assistant and head coaching career running between 1978 and 2011, Wohl became known as "Captain Video" for his extensive use of video to prepare his teams. He was an assistant coach on the Los Angeles Lakers' 1985 NBA championship team and the Boston Celtics team that won the 2008 NBA championship.
