Cipepofol, also known as ciprofol or by its developmental code name HSK3486, sold under the brand name Cypsedo, is a general anesthetic related to propofol which is used for anesthesia and sedation. The drug is used by intravenous infusion. A short-acting and highly selective GABAA positive allosteric modulator, ciprofol is 4 to 6 times more potent than other phenol derivatives such as propofol or fospropofol.
