Calvin Louis Petersen is an American professional hockey player who is a goaltender and is currently with the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League (NHL) on a Professional Tryout Agreement. He most recently played for the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL) while under contract to the Minnesota Wild of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected in the fifth round, 129th overall by the Buffalo Sabres in the 2013 NHL entry draft. On July 1, 2017, he signed a two-year entry-level contract with the Kings as an unrestricted free agent.
