Birr is a heritage market town in County Offaly, Ireland. The town is situated near the meeting of the Camcor and Little Brosna rivers, the latter flowing on into the River Shannon near Victoria Lock. Birr had a population of 4,726 at the 2022 census. The town is in a civil parish of the same name.
