Water Rabbit (Chinese: 癸卯; pinyin: guǐmǎo) is the 40th combination of the sexagenary cycle of the Chinese zodiac. It is preceded by Water Tiger and followed by Wood Dragon. In the traditional correspondence of the Heavenly Stems with the Five Phases, guǐ (癸) represents yin and Water, while the Earthly Branch mǎo (卯) corresponds to the Rabbit zodiac.[1][2]
