Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Ludwik Fleck, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Reidel. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Logic
In the history section of the article logic it is given as
Some of the later theories of Nyaya, belonging to the Navya-Nyāya school, resemble modern forms of logic, such as Gottlob Frege's distinction between sense and reference and his definition of number. Hi Marc Schroeder! I noticed that you recently made an edit at Tony Hoare and marked it as "minor", but it may not have been. "Minor edit" has a specific definition on Wikipedia: it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. —andrybak (talk) 19:22, 21 April 2025 (UTC)
- I added the reference to Hoare's primary and most famous paper
- Hoare, Charles Antony Richard (October 1969). "An Axiomatic Basis for Computer Programming". Communications of the ACM. 12 (10): 576–583. doi:10.1145/363235.363259. S2CID 207726175.
- Did this change the meaning of the article? To which dispute could my insertion possibly lead?[1] Could you explain that. Marc Schroeder (talk) 21:02, 21 April 2025 (UTC)
- There's a reason the setting "Mark all edits as minor by default" has been removed from Special:Preferences (phab:T26313). People misunderstand what "minor edit" means and misuse the checkbox.
- To answer your question directly: one of possible disputes would be the fact that this source is a primary source. But it doesn't matter: such a change in sourcing cannot possibly be considered a minor edit. Wikipedia:Verifiability is one of the main policies, it's the first in Template:Wikipedia policies and guidelines after the over-arching WP:5P and WP:IAR. Sources are a major part of ensuring this policy is followed. —andrybak (talk) 23:52, 21 April 2025 (UTC)

Thank you for your work on this article. Unfortunately, it is not ready for main space yet. Please add footnotes to back up each claim with a reliable source.
