Your template, Template:Use Australian English, nominated for merging to Template:Use English variant
Hi there,
I nominated the templated you created at TfD Wikipedia:Templates_for_discussion/Log/2026_January_13#Template:Use_American_English. You are welcome to discuss. Szmenderowiecki (talk · contribs) 07:35, 13 January 2026 (UTC)
"Use British English"
Hi, I saw that you've done a great job with the "Use dmy dates" template in the Meloni government article. Would you kindly also address the BE terms (according to the "Use British English" template) in the Giorgia Meloni article (there are some "criticized")? ~2026-26684-4 (talk) 11:57, 13 January 2026 (UTC)

Related to the EU Ethics Body article
Hi. Hi have seen your deletion of my additions to the ethics body article. This is concerning to me because ALL of the information I have put in it were sourced and (to my understanding) compliant. Can we work together to try and make it compliant to your understanding of the rules, instead of reverting all my work done in good faith ? I am not an experienced wikipedia editor so I am sure the formatting could use improvement but I spent an enormous amount of time on the sourcing and the analysis, so I am disheartened again to see it all go away the minute I look elsewhere. Thank you for your understanding and kind help on the matter. Best, Raphcmt (talk) 08:01, 3 March 2026 (UTC)
Professional Game Match Officials Limited
The first two paragraphs of this article, which you and I both mistakenly replaced after deletion by a temporary user, are clearly vandalism. They should not be reinstated again. Thanks. Nick Levine (talk) 22:48, 21 March 2026 (UTC)

An attempt was made to get the New Pages Feed to sort by date marked as reviewed instead of date created. However we had to revert it due to bugs. We may try again in the future. You can subscribe to the Phabricator ticket if you're interested in following along.

Requested revert
Hi DI2000, can you rv one of this edited done by the same person you message? I appreciate it if you reply, thanks. TBB (talk) 14:54, 21 May 2026 (UTC)
- @Thebaldball: - did some cleanup, but not a full rv on that one since it wasn't a hijacking this time; but if you see something else amiss, you can edit that article as needed. Dl2000 (talk) 02:36, 22 May 2026 (UTC)
Meridiana page corrections
Good morning. When making corrections, you can't just use scissors and ignore the rest. In fact, by removing the entire paragraph "In January 2007 ..... GEASAR SpA" it's unclear how Eurofly was absorbed and integrated. In this case, the bold heading of the paragraph should read "A merger" (or something similar) and not "Two mergers in four years"... Articles for Creation backlog drive

Hello Dl2000:
WikiProject Articles for creation is holding a month long Backlog Drive in August!
The goal of this drive is to reduce the backlog of unreviewed drafts to less than a month of outstanding reviews from the current 3+ months. Bonus points will be given for reviewing drafts that have been waiting more than 30 days. The drive is running from 1 August 2026 through 31 August 2026.
You may find Category:AfC pending submissions by age or other categories and sorting helpful.
Barnstars will be given out as awards at the end of the drive.
There is a backlog of over 5000 pages, so start reviewing drafts. We're looking forward to your help! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:37, 19 July 2026 (UTC)

Edits to Young Woodley (play)
You recently made some edits to Young Woodley (play), leaving the comment: cleanup ref/param, possibly due to AI expansion. Could you explain what you meant by that? Thanks! Saratoga Sam (talk) 22:04, 2 August 2026 (UTC)
- Basically reference parameters in the article needed some cleaning up, so that was done. Although the parameters can get unruly due to AI or other factors, on further review, the speculation about AI should not have been made. However, there seems to be an issue with the length and level of detail on the plot section so the article was tagged for that. Dl2000 (talk) 02:30, 3 August 2026 (UTC)
- Ok, thanks for the clarification. The Synopsis section is definitely too long, but I will leave it to an editor with better writing skills to handle. My main concern in expanding the stub was to refocus on the original US production, and to detail the events surrounding the Lord Chamberlain lifting the ban on the play in the UK, the first crack in theatrical censorship there. Kate Bell (Australian actress)'s page information deletion.
Hi, I was looking into this page and noticed it has been stripped of a lot of factual information about the actress' biography and filmography, which is weird, because checking older versions (like the one you edited: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Kate_Bell_(Australian_actress)&oldid=1262328322, it still had most of her career present, with very few inaccuracies. I think the Years active was incorrect, with 2003-2012 being the correct date. But it seems like many of the deletions were made incorrectly, despite the information confirming it not being difficult to find.
I was wondering if I could use your source to roll back the page to that previous state, adding new references and external links that back all of the information present back then and more that hadn't been added yet.
Have a nice day, mate. Greyvalentine (talk) 17:47, 22 August 2026 (UTC) Greyvalentine (talk) 17:46, 22 August 2026 (UTC)
- @Greyvalentine: - You need to be aware of the need for sufficient article sourcing ([WP:SOURCE]]). The version you indicate had only one citation to support a significant amount of content. Also some previous versions depended on IMDB which is regarded as unreliable on Wikipedia, and apparently some inappropriate direct copying from that source. There's probably no justification to use a previous version, but could correct the active years if another reliable source can be found. Dl2000 (talk) 01:57, 25 August 2026 (UTC)
Radio Battalion Page
Thank you for reaching out. I want to assure you I did not use an "AI chatbot" to produce the content I added to the Radio Battalion page. It was my first time making a significant edit and I was unsure about best practices, especially when it came to citing the same reference multiple times.
I authored the content of my edits. I am still learning my way around Wikipedia's editing UI, so nearly all of what I wrote was as a draft in Obsidian, which I added piecemeal as I went along in the "Editing Radio Battalion" Page with Preview enabled. I did not commit any changes I made until I had finished writing and had checked my work, hence the 70,057 bytes, +53,006 edit from August 22, 2026.
You can see my research trail in the retrieval dates on my references: August 3-8, 16-17, and 19-22. The range in the retrieval dates reflects the timeline of research and writing, because as I aggregated details and wrote my draft, I added sources using the citation template in the Wikipedia editor. You can also see that of the 52 sources I cited, 22 cite specific page numbers (by my manual count), which should confirm that I did in fact limit the content of my article to details corresponding to the specific sources I cited.
My references also reflect a variety of credible sources accompanied by full publication details. I consulted Official Marine Corps Publications, official unit histories and lineage documents, Marine Corps History Division publications, declassified NSA documents, National Archives primary sources, academic and intelligence community journals, books, news articles, and DVIDS. The breadth of sources and level of detail in the citations is not indicative of AI hallucinated sourcing, but rather human research.
In the interest of candor, I did use a large language model to check for errors in the formatting of references specifically and used the annotated output to manually cross reference against the formatting of my references. I want to emphasize again that the research, references, and writing were all produced by me.
I will also note that upon review of Wikipedia:NEWLLM, the guidance on acceptable LLM use cases references utility in identifying other simple mistakes.
Moreover, as noted in the Wikipedia:Writing articles with large language models/RfC discussion, citation-formatting seems to have been introduced as an acceptable use case: More specialized, constructive use cases do exist, from using them as research assistants to citation-formatting tools, and this guideline does not aim to restrict any of these use cases.
In each of these cases, human review was mentioned as a necessary component of use, which I demonstrably adhered to by way of having restricted use to reference formatting only.
Please let me know how I can alleviate your concerns as to the article and how best to move forward. - SL (talk) 06:09, 24 August 2026 (UTC)
