To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}} on your userpage.
Please remember to:
- Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the
button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes ~~~~at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp. - Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.

Signing your posts
Hi! I saw your post on User_talk:~2026-44528-00 that you had a bit of trouble with the signature. On the off chance you don't know, you can sign your post with your signature and date just by doing ~~~~. You can read more at WP:SIG.

Scar
I can't copy the link since I am on a phone now, but to see the source go to the trivia section of Scar's page on lionking.fandom.com.~2026-45445-15 (talk) 18:23, 19 August 2026 (UTC)
- Fandom Wikis aren't reliable sources (see WP:RS). I have checked the citation provided by the Wiki to see if it qualifies as a reliable source. Unfortunately, no. It traces back to some random sms-like message send by the individual. - AProtestantBoy (talk) 18:28, 19 August 2026 (UTC)
- I know that Fandom wikis are not a reliable source, I was just directing you to the wiki so that you can see the source listed there. ~2026-45445-15 (talk) 18:31, 19 August 2026 (UTC)
- I don't think an SMS like direct message should be considered worth to be a source. You might as well call Scar 'Larry'. - AProtestantBoy (talk) 18:33, 19 August 2026 (UTC)

Is it possible for me to create a satirical article like WP:SLOTH or WP:PUMA, or is that just reserved for specific users instead. AProtestantBoy (talk) 19:42, 21 August 2026 (UTC)
- It’s not forbidden, but Wikipedia is not social media, so as a brand new user it might be better not to. Typically such pages are made by experienced users who have paid their dues and are just letting off a little steam. Hope this helps, Mathglot (talk) 21:23, 21 August 2026 (UTC)
