UK underground rap is a hip-hop music genre, counterculture and scene of experimental UK rap that emerged in London during the early 2020s. It has been called "the UK's rap revolution". The scene differs from earlier waves of underground UK hip-hop through its strong influence from American internet rap genres such as cloud rap, plugg, rage and jerk.
