It was released worldwide on 29 September 2014. The single was written by band members Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne and regular collaborators Wayne Hector, John Ryan, Ed Drewett, and Julian Bunetta. It was produced by Bunetta, Ryan and Pär Westerlund.
