Raytheon is a business unit of RTX Corporation and is a major U.S. defense contractor and industrial corporation with manufacturing concentrations in weapons, military, and commercial electronics. Raytheon was founded in 1922 and in 2020 it merged with United Technologies Corporation to form Raytheon Technologies, which changed its name to RTX Corporation in July 2023.
