Randolph McCoy was an American farmer who was the patriarch of the McCoy family involved in the infamous Hatfield–McCoy feud. He was the fourth of thirteen children born to Daniel McCoy and Margaret Taylor McCoy and lived mostly on the Kentucky side of Tug Fork, a tributary of the Big Sandy River. He previously served in the Confederate States Army during the American Civil War.
