New York Harbor

New York Harbor is a tidal body of water forming the upper part of New York Bay within the New York–New Jersey Harbor Estuary. Located on the East Coast of the United States at the mouth of the Hudson River, it is connected to Long Island Sound by the East River, which despite its name is actually a tidal strait.
