Joseph Michael Medwick, nicknamed "Ducky", "Muscles", and "Mickey", was an American professional baseball left fielder. He played 17 major-league seasons from 1932 to 1948, all in the National League, for the St. Louis Cardinals, Brooklyn Dodgers, New York Giants, and Boston Braves. His playing days included the latter half of the Cardinals "Gashouse Gang" era and their 1934 World Series championship.
