Jay Lefkowitz is an American lawyer. For more than three decades, he was a litigation partner at the Kirkland & Ellis law firm, where he was also a member of the worldwide management committee. He served in both Bush administrations, including as Deputy Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy under George W. Bush, and from 2005 to 2009 was the first Special Envoy for Human Rights in North Korea.
