Football Club Shakhtar Donetsk is a Ukrainian professional football club, currently playing out of Lviv. It was based in the city of Donetsk until 2014, when the War in Donbas forced the club to relocate. It moved from the Donbass Arena to Lviv (2014–2016) and then to Kharkiv (2017–2020), whilst having its headquarters and training facilities in Kyiv. In May 2020, Shakhtar started to play home matches at NSC Olimpiyskyi. Since the beginning of the 2023–24 season, Shakhtar has played home matches once again at Arena Lviv.
