The California Community Colleges (CCC) is California's system of public community colleges. Headquartered in Sacramento, the system includes 73 districts, which operate 116 colleges, and serves more than 1.8 million students. Under the California Master Plan for Higher Education, the California Community Colleges is a part of the state's three-system public postsecondary education plan, which also includes the University of California and California State University systems.
