The Anglo-Scottish border is a land boundary that separates England and Scotland on the island of Great Britain. Though separating two countries and legal systems, it is an internal border of the United Kingdom. It runs for 96 miles (154 km) between Marshall Meadows Bay on the east coast and the Solway Firth in the west. It is known colloquially as "the border" in the whole of Scotland and the English counties of Cumbria and Northumberland.
